For this, I have listed characters that could be classified as properly mad or out of their minds, at least, not just a scary but understandable character. For example, Damien is evil not mad. The Midwich Cookoos are survivalists who see humans as a threat and are perfectly rational within their own species. Reagan is possessed by a demon who is perfectly rational in demon terms even if the result of the possession looks like pure insanity. This list is of those who are insane, whether judged by human expectations or alien.
